भगवान अजितनाथ
Bhagwan Ajitnath - The 2nd Tirthankara
The Unconquerable One who achieved victory over all karmas and showed the path of liberation to countless souls
Who is Bhagwan Ajitnath?
Bhagwan Ajitnath, the second Tirthankara of this cosmic cycle, was born as Prince Ajit in Ayodhya. His name “Ajit” means “unconquerable” – one who cannot be defeated by any force, including the cycle of birth and death.
After renouncing worldly pleasures at the age of 20 lakh purva years, he practiced severe austerities and achieved Kevala Gyana (omniscience). He established the four-fold sangha and guided countless souls toward liberation.
His teachings emphasize the victory over inner enemies – anger, pride, deceit, and greed – leading to ultimate spiritual conquest and moksha.
